Billet Information 2025

 

National Finalists may apply for free accommodation during the National Final.

 

Billeted accommodation is entirely dependent on availability from friends of the Competition and is offered only on the dates below and only if accommodation is available – our friends open their houses to support the Competition.

 

Accommodation may be available for:

 

• Friday 18 July

• Saturday 19 July

 

If you are selected as a National Finalist and are travelling from interstate, regional Victoria or Melbourne and wish to request billeted accommodation, you must contact the Competition Coordinator admin@aycmc.org.au as soon as possible after you are notified of your selection.  Depending on availability, accompanists may also be offered accommodation.

 

By prior arrangement, and depending on your flight and transport schedules, National Finalists may be met at Avalon Airport or Geelong Station and driven to their host accommodation. Please be sure to make yourself aware of bus, train, Uber and taxi requirements and availability in the event that it is necessary for you to make your own way to your accommodation.

 

It is not possible to request transport from Melbourne Tullamarine Airport or Southern Cross Station.

and a finals place does not automatically guarantee accommodation.
