Lily Bryant is a Melbourne-based flautist, and current student of the Australian National Academy of Music. Completing her Bachelor’s degree in 2019, for which she was awarded the Queensland Conservatorium Conservatorium Medal, Lily has a passion for performing, and creating moving musical experiences for her audiences. Professionally, Lily has worked with some of the country’s top musical institutions, including Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Canberra Symphony Orchestra, Ensemble Q, Melbourne Philharmonic Orchestra, Melbourne Bach Choir, Inventi Ensemble, Rubiks Collective, and more.

 

Lily has a particular interest in the music of living Australian composers, and as a writer has curated her own series with CutCommon called “Passing the Mic”, which platforms the work of Australian composers of underrepresented genders. In June of 2022, Lily will commence as a participant of Melbourne Symphony Orchestra’s inaugural Academy program.
