
Harry Egerton
Violin
Harry Egerton is currently studying violin with Dr Robin Wilson at ANAM. Last year he graduated with a Bachelor of Music from the Queensland Conservatorium studying violin with Michele Walsh. Since finishing university, he has performed multiple times with the QSO. Harry was awarded the Brisbane Club Award (2021), Brisbane Club Audience Choice Award (2021), QCGU Postgraduate Prize (2021), Ronald Clifford Davis Prize (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021), Paganini Prize (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021) and the Matilda Jane Aplin Prize (2019). In December 2020, he performed as soloist with the Queensland Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra in Waxman’s Carmen Fantasy, conducted by Peter Luff. In February 2020, he travelled to North America, taking lessons at the Manhattan School of Music and at Julliard.
